As I'm very interested in fashion; the latest trends and do’s and don’ts, I feel it’s important for someone who doesn’t really understand fashion to have somewhere to turn and look toward for advice. As a result, I’m asking fellow Telegraph writer, Sally, questions about her sense of style and taking a look into her closet.
Interviewer: How would you describe your style and what are you trying to say through it?
Sally: I’m just trying to be a roadie. I also steal a lot of my mom's clothing to dress like a borderline grandma.
Interviewer: What inspires your style?
Sally: Roadies, grandmas, the 60’s, and little boys.

Interviewer: Where do you get most of your clothes? Is it mostly second hand, hand me downs, or from retail stores?
Sally: I get hand me downs a lot; raiding my grandma’s closet, but other than that I would say retail.
Interviewer: How would you describe your shoe game?
Sally: Usually, I’m not really that diverse. I like a lot of boots, but shoe game is generally anything that makes me taller, because you know, I'm about two feet tall.
Interviewer: How has your style changed over time? Why do you think it has shifted?
Sally: My music taste shifts every single year. My style tends to change with it.
Interviewer: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning? Do you have a process for hair, makeup, outfits, etc..
Sally: I do my makeup in the car. That usually takes 20 minutes. It takes about 30 to wash my face and pick out clothes and stuff like that. It also depends if I take a shower the night before. If I have to do it in the morning, then around 45 minutes total.
Interviewer: Who is your fashion icon/ what is your favorite fashion designer?
Sally: I like Francoise Hardy a lot. As for my favorite fashion designer, I think Yves Saint Laurent is nice.
This interview went really well because Sally and I have two totally different senses of styles. I enjoyed having a look into someone else’s sense of fashion as everyone's fashion sense is unique to their own.
