“The whole team helped in organizing the event and we would really appreciate it if you came,” said Calliope Dean, 8th-grade representative. The fest will be offering some classic games which include Donuts on a String, Balloon Darts, and Chopstick Master.
The Winterfest will take place on Thursday, December 15th, from 1:00-3:00 PM, at Uptown Park, located just across from the OSA building. There will be no fee to enter, but tickets will be priced at the ticket booths, which will be located throughout the park.

The purpose of this event is to raise money for the student council so that they can organize more events for the students of OSA. All money raised will go towards their budget. “The funds from the winter festival go directly to the student council's budget. We'll use it to fund other events in the future such as dances, and more things like the winter festival,” says Dean.
To play Cornhole will cost 2 tickets. Chopstick abilities will cost 2 tickets. Donut on a String is 4 tickets to play, Knock that Cup off is 3 tickets, and Balloon Pop is 4 tickets. The stands will be run by various members of the student council, including Isaiah Johnson, Kamani Walker, Lindsey Higgins, Mckenzie Lopezlira, Tallulah-Jane Armstrong Temple, Sadie Mcmahon, Bailey Estralla-Kowal, Sydney Seibold, and Karol Suarez.
