Ahhhh presents, one of the things we look forward to when we hear the word Christmas. I interviewed a few OSA students to see what’s on their list this year.
First I interviewed Trevor Walton. I asked what he was looking forward to this Christmas, and he said spending time with family and friends. Then I asked what was on his Christmas list and with joy, he said a soccer jersey from a soccer player named Mbappe from the French team. He looks up to Mbappe because Mbappe is a young soccer player age 19!
Now let's transition to Chiara Kovac. Kovac loves to spend time with her cats Charlotte and Wilbert. They are her pride and soul, so she said if she could get anything for Christmas she would get money for her cat's food and toys (also origami paper buts that's not on topic). When I asked Kovac what kind of presents she likes to give she said, “I get something random or make my own thing for the ones I love.”
Someone that we are all looking forward to is Sir Joaquin Antonio Montes De Oca Calica Sein Torres (Long name right?) The first thing I asked was what was on his list, and the results were rather creepy. He said money, animals to pet creepily, Stephen King books to read at night, and some sister snazzy nails DUN DUN DUN *bats flying around*. But the thing that caught my ear the most, was the longest sentence I've heard so far. I asked him whether he thought he was naughty or nice this year? His answer was rather shocking! “Well, what is naughty or nice really?” he asked. “Aren’t we small beings in a vast landscape of universe, hypocrites to say that any of us can be naughty nor nice, nice nor naughty, both being opinions and more or fewer figures of speech because what is naughty to one person is nice to another, I personally feel nothing like a spider only at the moment of the kill do I really feel alive.”
Now to our interview of Declan McMahon. Declan is grateful for his family and says he is looking forward to spending time with them and going to his grandmother’s, because she’s an awesome cook and very dear to Declan’s heart. Declan’s favorite tradition is when he and his sister look through catalogs to find what is going to be on their list for Santa!
Now on to our last interview of the day, DOLPHIN POTTER (aka Triece Kushner)! Dolphin is an outgoing soul and says HI to everyone she meets (and doesn’t know). Today we learned a little more about her, like her affection for her little cousin (little babie Roman) and for Starbucks Drinks. For Christmas, she really wants a Starbucks gift card cause everyone needs some morning joe, and a James Charles “spill the tea sis” sweatshirt (I Relate!).
In conclusion, we all know Christmas is going to be fire for us all! MERRY CHRISTMAS! (and Hanukkah and Kwanzaa!)
