Have you ever felt sad and decided to watch a meme to make you feel better? Or maybe just wanted to read some memes cause you were bored? Well, this article is for you. I'll be interviewing Literary Arts students and asking them what they think about these memes.
First, I interviewed Hazel Phillips. I asked her what her favorite meme was, and she said “The lol EEL, cause he looks like he's looking for a good reaction from a bad joke and I literally do that all the time.” I responded with a cringe look and went on with the questions.
Next I asked her what she thought about the “here’s the mf tea” meme, and her answer was interestingly weird. “I think that meme is life, and the definition of our existence is *sip sip* tea.” My response was just a flat out ”Oof.”
Next I interviewed Joaquin Montes De Oca. The first thing I asked him was, “If you could get rid of one meme, which one would it be?”
He said, “I don’t know if this really weird photo of me and im (he laughs awkwardly) eating a bunch of food (continues to laugh awkwardly).” I looked at him crazy.
”Um ok.” I say before awkward silence breaks out. “Anyways, would you rather watch Tik Tok memes or Vines?” I asked.
His response was “Vines, because Tik Tok memes are irritating.” “Why?” I asked.
He responded,“Irritating people making irritating memes… Same as Vines so uh I don't know”
I go on to the last question. “Would you miss vine?”
“Not at all,” He said. “I don't like memes or vines so yeah.”
Next I interviewed Grace. She starts off by saying she doesn't know anything about the Internet and she doesnt know much about memes, so I asked her what her favorite meme was. Her response was, “You see, I don't know very many memes, so I guess the most recent meme I know of is Meryl Streep yelling at a award ceremony, and then people put words and lyrics over it.”
Lastly, I Interviewed Chaira. First I asked what her favorite meme was She said, “I like most cat memes. I'm trying to think of a specific one…” She never thought of a specific one.
Next I asked her, “If you wanted to kill one meme, which one would it be?”
She said “Fre sha vaca do meme.” I sit there with no expression on my face… “Huh?” I say out of wonder. “Search it up!” So I search it up and watch the video, The last thing I say after I ended the interview was “What?”
These are the Most popular memes in Literary arts.
