"Beatrice Sandri, the OSA alumnus has recently gone from writing articles in the OSA telegraph to being in a Vogue article herself,"--TRiece Kushner, 10th grade
Beatrice Sandri, the OSA alumnus has recently gone from writing articles in the OSA telegraph to being in a Vogue article herself.
Sandri spent all of high school at Oakland School for the Arts (OSA), not only in the Literary Arts emphasis but also in the Visual Arts Arts emphasis. She’s touched base with many different types of art and has always remained interested in it. Born and raised in the Bay Area, she was exposed to a lot of different resources in expanding her artistic career, including the Senior Books book launch program at OSA, where she published Uncovered, a fiction story set at an archaeological site in Pompeii, Italy.
Sandri grew up loving writing and drawing, although her community gave her a different perspective on her own sense of creativity and expression. It encouraged her to be what she really wanted to be: a model.

“In Lit Arts, I was able to get my thoughts out about what I wanted to say, I’d say that really helps me with writing emails,” says Sandri on her arts education. “Emails are important in the industry because that’s how you get your job. You have to be able to have a good back-and-forth email with your agent and your clients and being able to be really formal and [literate] really helped me with that.”
Sandri is now a full-time model, having appeared in Vogue twice, and having been photographed for the Academy of Art University Fall of 2022 ready-to-wear show. Booked through her agency Three Model Management, she walked it when she was still writing her book. This would be any model’s lifelong dream, and she accomplished it before she even graduated from high school.

Today, Sandri is still located in the Bay, working very hard to accomplish her dreams. As each milestone passes for her, Sandri feels very grateful to have grown up in such an encouraging environment, which allowed her to go from graduating high school to walking in top shows and having model gigs in New York, living her dream life
