Being at home all the time can be extremely boring. To help with that, many websites are doing sections for boredom busters and newsletters with games and quizzes. Here are a few of them...--Holly young, 6th grade
Pottermore- Each week they send out a newsletter to Pottermore members. There is a link attached to it that takes you to a section with free audiobooks, ebooks, quizzes, and videos. For Harry Potter fans, this is sure to keep you happy and occupied.
Audible- Usually you have to buy books from Audible, but they have made many books for kids free. For people who like books, but don’t necessarily like reading, this is for you!
Pbs Kids- You can sign up to get a newsletter with educational games and activities, so you
can keep learning while having fun. This is more for little kids, but it can still be fun for older kids.
Monterey Bay Aquarium- These cams have been around for a while, but they’re still fun to watch. You can watch adorable animals swim around like you’re at the aquarium, but you’re watching from the safety of your own home.
The Cincinnati Zoo Home Safari- Even though we are at home, doesn’t mean we have to stop going to the zoo. The Cincinnati Zoo has a YouTube channel that makes live videos of the animals.
Turn It Out with Tiler- This is a ballet class with Tiler Peck, a principal dancer with New York City Ballet. These classes are daily at 1pm EST.
Dance Classes With Debbie Allen- These are not ballet classes, but she explores many different styles including Jazz and Salsa.
