Modern Coffee is a cafe just three blocks away from OSA on 19th Street. Small but cozy, the cafe has limited indoor and outdoor seating that offers a view of the street level. Conveniently, there is free wifi, however there were no apparent wall outlets for computers. Keep in mind that it closes at 1:00PM, which does not make it possible to study there after school.
Menu Options - 6/10: Modern Coffee provides your standard coffee shop staples, but limited non-caffeinated beverages. Their selection of food mainly consists of pastries in the morning, but no substantial meal options.
Price - $$: The prices at Modern Coffee are reasonable, being one of the most affordable cafes near OSA. That being said, their sizes run small.
Overall aesthetics - 7/10: Modern Coffee is small, but the design is very aesthetically pleasing. It has a modern look that tastefully incorporates artistic design, and a comforting feel. Menu Options - 8/10: Tierra Mia provides a wide variety of drinks, as well as multiple non-caffeinated options. Their main food option is pastries, good for a breakfast or snack.
Price - $: The prices at Tierra Mia are definitely on the cheaper side, and their drinks are a reasonable size for the amount paid.

Awaken Cafe is about 3 blocks away from OSA, on Broadway near City Center. It’s very spacious, with lots of tables and seating. This cafe would be a good option for studying or hanging out after school as it does stay open until 7:00PM on most days. However, they do not provide free wifi. Lastly, it’s important to note that Awaken Cafe does tend to get busy during lunch hour.
Menu Options - 9/10: Awaken Cafe has a fairly wide variety of drinks, ranging from your classic coffee shop staples, to some unique options like the Ube Latte. Awaken is also the place to go if you are looking for somewhere with substantial meal options as well as drinks.
