Will.i.am had originally planned to make a couple hundred masks for his friends and then contacted Honeywell to produce them more broadly.
Xupermask is a high-tech face mask that connects to your smartphone. The mask has dual 3-speed fans with replaceable HEPA filters, along with some fancy noise cancelling bluetooth earbuds that magnetically dock to the mask when not in use. It retails for $299.
The mask is said to fit most, if not all, head sizes because of its elastic strap, silicon face seal, and 2-size options. You will need to charge the mask, but not to worry, as the battery can last up to 7 hours at a time.
