The Delta variant could be as contagious as chicken poxs which spreads more easily than the common cold. The first case of the Delta variant was in December 2020 in India, according to Healthline.
Yale Medicine reported that cough and loss of smell are less common with the Delta variant, while headache, sore throat, runny nose, and fever are among the top symptoms.

Kids are often not wearing masks or can't wear them. Also social distancing is harder and hand washing /sanitizing is a challenge.
Based on these facts, school could easily be a place to get Covid if every precaution isn’t taken at school and home.
If you have lunch make sure you social distance from others or you can eat outside if you can. Be sure to keep your mask on and to stay six feet apart.
