If you have a December birthday than you might have had to change plans due to rain, snow, Christmas, friends being away for the holidays. Maybe you wanted to go to the amusement park, or do some outdoor activities but the good weather had to cancel on your winter birthday. If you have a birthday later in December, a lot of people might not be able to go to your birthday party due to spending the holidays with family. Here are seven fun ideas for your December birthday.
Movies
The first thing you could do is go to the movies. Going to the movies is a simple yet perfect last minute idea. If you want to stay home you could do a movie marathon with friends. You can get snacks, maybe go get lunch, and have fun. After having fun at the movies you can go home and eat cake.
Arts & Crafts
This idea might require going to the store if you don't have the supplies at home but it is worth it. An arts-and-crafts themed birthday party. The best thing about this is using your creativity. You could make art work with almost anything around you, as well as of course get messy. Finger painting, sketching, doodling, drawing, glue, sewing... anything really.
Fun in the Rain
Even though it might be raining or wet outside you could do hide and seek in the rain. Playing hide and seek in the rain itself is not an activity you could do for the whole party but there are many more games you could play outside. Hide and seek, tag, or even capture the flag.
Baking
If you want to stay inside to enjoy the warmth of the house, maybe you want to try baking for your birthday. You could bake cookies or do anything else you want. You could make pancakes and top them off with blueberries or syrup, you could make cupcakes, or make a cake that all your friends could help with.
Ice Skating
Get your scarf and gloves and hit the ice skating rink with your friends. Ice Skating is the perfect winter activity for December birthdays. Look at the closest ice rink and book a birthday room so you can bundle up when you get too cold for the ice. Play games on the ice and if you can, rent a part of the ice for your friends.
Hot Chocolate Bar
Warm your hands by the fire and make some custom hot chocolate creations. Sprinkle them with crushed candy canes and whipped cream. A hot chocolate bar is a great idea for your December birthday celebration
