"JUST RECENTLY WE HAVE LOST ANOTHER SOUL THIS YEAR. KING VON OR DAYVON DAQUAN BENNET WAS AN AMERICAN RAPPER WITH FAME AHEAD OF HIM." --JAYDEN BAASANSUREN, 7TH GRADE

King Von passed on November 6 to a gunshot in Atlanta. He survived the gunshot but later on died from the wounds.

According to Vulture, The Atlanta Police Department is still investigating this situation to find suspects and the shooter. ”Three people were killed,” they wrote, “ including King Von, after a confrontation outside an Atlanta club that ended in gunfire early Friday morning, according to police.”
King Von is a 26-year-old American rapper and songwriter from Chicago. He was Born on August 9th, 1994. He was an upcoming Black rapper from Chicago, ready to start his career. Before he passed, he had just signed a record label with Lil Durk.

King Von was working on albums and many more to start his career he loved so much. He had a rough childhood, and lived in a dangerous block in Chicago which is where he was born and raised.” King Von was born Dayvon Bennett on Chicago's South Side and raised in the crime-ridden O Block neighborhood,” according to allmusic.com. “By his teen years, Bennett had turned to crime and would spend years in and out of jail before he began rapping in 2018.”

His childhood was rough for a reason and  all his music had a meaning in his life .”Caught that boy right by that bus, this his last stop.” In the song For a Fact.

2020 has witnessed the loss of so many souls and lives, including Kobe Bryant, Chadwick Boseman, Breona Taylor, George Floyd, and King Von. We all send them our prayers and wishes.
