Equipped with several sensors and cameras, the cart is able to detect whether an item was put in or removed from the cart. The dash cart has a touchscreen in the center of the handle used to login and pay for items via Amazon.com. Since the dash cart has so much equipment, it doesn't have enough space for large grocery trips. When you put vegetables, fruit, and other produce in the cart, it will weigh them to the price.
While this cart makes shopping way easier, there is a downside to it. Since the cart is linked to Amazon.com, hackers and malicious users can break through the security and see through the cameras of the cart or steal money from your Amazon allowance. .
Since this interesting piece of technology has only been released to one store, there aren't many user reviews, so I was only able to find one article on it along with Amazon’s announcement video, so unfortunately this was a short article.
