Once when I was 8,bored on Youtube, I came across a cute shaggy haired boy in a grey sweater. I thought, “I’ve never seen him before,” and I clicked on it. The video beganwith a young kid (Justin Bieber) playing video games withhis best friend, then the music to his hit song One Time came on. It started with an “Aye, Aye, Aye,” then the
beautiful sixteen-year-old voice started singing. This
how I fell in love with Justin Drew Bieber.
Justin Drew Bieber was born March 1, 1994 in Stratford
Ontario, Canada to single mother Pattie Mallette. Justin began entering singing contests and, with his mom’s help, uploading video’s to Youtube which later led to his discovery by manager Scooter Braun in 2007. Scooter helped him get signed to Def Jam. He then became the teen heart throb that no girl could deny.
Recently, Justin Bieber’s album Purpose was one of the most successful and influential albums dropped in 2015. Purpose is Justin Bieber’s newest studio album since 2013 when he came out with Journals--a tribute to his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, which had a R&B feel unlike his
previous albums. With songs in the first, second, and third spots on the U.K. Billboard charts. “Sorry” stayed at number one for 5 weeks, “Love yourself” was at number two, and “What do you mean?” Was number three. This has been one of the biggest musical comebacks since Britney Spears’ album Circus.
Justin took two years to release an album. This album took Bieber two years to release without
even giving out a official single to us Beliebers. The most we got from Justin was a feature… like c’mon
Justin I need more. On this album, songs like “No Sense” & “No Pressure” which are both on the
deluxe edition of the album, have a R&B feel to them unlike the others that have that pop feel. Both of
these songs have features from well known rappers Big Sean & Travis Scott. These two songs have a
chill but lit vibe to them along with the rest of Bieber’s album.
On March 18,2016 I got the chance to see the love of my life… JUSTIN BIEBER! I’ve waited
for this moment since the last time I saw him which was July 16, 2010. As my friends mom drives into
The Oracle Arena, I begin to get jittery thinking, “He’s right there, he’s right
there!”. We begin to walk up the huge hill getting closer and closer to the Arena, I
begin to see grown women dressed in club dresses and short skirts with heels. I
mean… if Justin’s going to dress like a hobo shouldn't I? As the doors finally open
everyone rushes in I head straight for the merchandise.
Some might think I’m crazy because I bought a sweatshirt for 75$ but I love him so it’s okay.
We take our seats in section 108, row 12, seat 14. First a new singer by the name Moxie Raia
performs, then Post Malone a rapper from Syracuse, New York. By the time Post Malone was done I
was ready to see MY Husband. He ended up being twenty-five minutes late.It was ok as soon as the
one minute and thirty second video started I couldn’t breath. That’s when it happens. Justin Bieber rose
from under the stage in a glass box singing the first song off the album “Mark My Words”, that's when
the water works began. I’m breathing the same air as this beautifully creative human being that's walked
on this earth besides me of course. As the song is beginning to end the glass box goes back under the
stage. The Belieber party officially starts when he comes back out to start “Where Are You Now” with
an added twist for a dance sequence.
Justin later begins to groove with the crowd for an acoustic set. It’s just him, his guitar, and the
crowd having an intimate moment. He performs two of his acoustics while sitting on a purple love
couch “Love Yourself” & “Home to Mama” which ft Australian singer Cody Simpson. He then later
begins to get into the viber part of the album. As he begins to sing his song “Company” a trampoline
installed stage comes down for him and all his dancers to gather onto. They begin dancing Justin singing
and jumping from trampoline to trampoline. Towards the end he landed face down and he looks into the
floor part of crowd I say to my friend “That’s not fair he should be looking at us not them” then laughing
about how jealous I had sounded.
He then brings up four young kids from the Oakland Dance troupe Culture Shock to dance with
him during the song “Children”. Justin’s family oriented side comes out as he interacts with the kids
asking for there name and age. He beings to become more personal with us while singing the song ‘Life
Is Worth The Living” and lies on the runway of his stage, while touching fans hands and looking them in
the eyes. Things then become emotional when he sings the song “Purpose” which share the name of the
album. Justin gave the Belieber family an important speech about how everyone has a purpose in this
world even if you hadn’t found it yet. While singing he forgot a couple words, he later on began to cry
which we probably all did. After performing his last song he runs off stage while the crew come set up a
temporary water proof stage. The beat to sorry starts and his dancer begin. He then pops up from the
highest level of the stage, in a jean jacket a Marilyn Manson t-shirt and Purpose Tour sweatpants and a
grey pair of tennis shoes - can’t forget the man bun. He begins singing the apologetic anthem looking
happy and tired the end of the song the band gives a extravagant outro that being the end of the Purpose
Tour. Walking out I realize he didn’t even take his shirt OFF!
