In this review I am focusing on not very well known queer media like Books, Movies, TV, and Music.
Galaxy: The Prettiest Star (Book)
I love this book because it's DC based in Metropolis but isn't very action-y. The story follows a teenage alien girl who has come to earth because her planet was conquered. She and her family have to take the form of a human boy. This pretty love story and metaphor for transnes will leave you with a high standard for every other book you will read for the rest of your life, other than the things in this review.

Owl House (TV)
I loved that after every episode of this show you were left with something you wanted to know but you didn't. It's about a human girl named Luz who has never fit in, until one day she wanders through a magical door into the Demon Realm and meets a retired witch ,and asks her to teach her magic. It felt very engaging. It's super fun because it's really awesome how every episode there is always a pretty little ending while also being kind of intense. Plus more than two characters are queer.

Girl In Red (Music)
In my opinion, Girl In Red is one of the most inspiring queer singer/songwriters I've ever heard. In her music she combines indie pop and alternative rock to perfectly fit her lyrics about mental health, depression, and her experience being a lesbian. All of her songs are good, but one of my favorites is “Girls”, a song on her album “Beginnings” which might just be the gayest song ever, because of constant references in the lyrics such as, “I should be into this guy but it's just a waste of time he's really not my type,” and, “They're so pretty, it hurts I'm not talking 'bout boys, I'm talking 'bout girls they're so pretty with their button-up shirts.” It's really awesome how open she is about all that. 🏳️🌈

Strange World (Movie)
I know this movie is Queer but to be clear, that doesn’t automatically make it good. To be honest, it’s kind of bad and genuinely pretty bland. The plot is just slapped on, and nailed down, rather than carefully weaved into the story. However the diversity in the story is cool, for one, the main character is gay. Another is that-the main character’s dad and mom are of a different race, finally, the town’s heroic mayor is an indigenous woman. Though when I was looking through the show’s 5-star reviews, there were mostly good things being said about the diversity but not much talking about the story—which I totally agree with. I would give a review on its diversity 5 out of 5, but its story only 1 star.
