"Forever 21 made a post in early February with a look-a-like Ariana Grande figure promoting a headband similar to the “7 Rings” video, but not that similar."

The lawsuit accuses the fashion retailer of trying to convince customers on social media that it partnered up with Grande. They used this model a lot for different “7 Rings” products, even if it wasn’t an outfit from the music video, they would put little things from the music video.
If it was only one time, I could see Grande not caring as much, but Forever 21 kept posting Grande’s fake merch, over, and over, and over, again, Which probably got Grande feeling some way and leading her to suing the company for false advertisement and of course the look-alike.
A few days after Grande sued Forever 21, Farrah Moan, a famous drag queen from Rupaul's drag race, talked to the artist that made the outfits for Grande's music video and the stylist told Moan that they told the stylist to copy the look off of “7 Rings.” This shook Moan, she posted tweets saying that Grande should give her a cut of her 10 million because they sent an actual photo of her to the designer. Fans of Moan and Grande’s queer fans were furious. A lot of people on Twitter and ect, accused her for culture appropriation. Ariana hasn’t yet responded to these comments but instead posted a new music video.
In 2018, Grande stole Vladimir Kush’s painting idea for her music video, “God is a Woman” but this time it wasn’t her fault, she worked with Dave Meyers, who was sued for SZA’s music video and Kendrick Lamar's music video for copying paintings by Lina Iris Viktor. Meyers is currently facing a lawsuit from a Billie Eilish music video for copying a painting from Maurizio Cattlelan.
