"Wesleigh's family time looks like having a laugh together and playing fun games. Wesleigh describes her family as a 'warm cup of hot cocoa.'” --Violet Regilio, 7th Grade
Wesleigh Stone, a friendly 7th Grader in Literary Arts, finds her sanctuary with loved ones, like friends and family. They make her feel safe and loved. She says, “My Sanctuary is my family and being safe, having everyone I love around me. My sanctuary is anywhere my loved ones are.” She feels safe around these people because they bring her comfort, enjoyment, kindness and even more. Family and friends are important because they make Wesleigh feel loved, and that's more than enough.
Wesleigh's family time looks like having a laugh together and playing fun games. Wesleigh describes her family as a “ warm cup of hot cocoa.”

Wesleigh also said an example of her feeling happy with her family is around Christmas time, when she and her family open gifts from one another. She said that it makes her feel happy and loved. “My sanctuary is during christmas time when I’m with my family. We call all our family members and open the gifts they gave us, and we open the secret Santa gifts we got each other!” Wesleigh feels in her sanctuary during those sweet moments with her family.
