south park added 6'7 in season 28 lets talk about it!
In South Park, fans were surprised to see that they had added the new trend “6 7” to their first episode of season 28, titled “Twisted Christian.”
For those who aren’t familiar with the meme “6 7,” there are a few different origin stories. One story claims that it’s from a video of a kid at a basketball game and a girl asked him what the score was, and he screamed out “6 7” while doing a hand juggling motion again and again. However, other fans of the “6 7” trend think it came from a song called “Doot Doot (6 7)” by Philadelphian rapper Skrilla.
“‘Twisted Christian’ is an extremely online episode of South Park, possibly the most internet-poisoned the show has ever been, but successfully weaves together three weird, wildly different topical storylines into a coherent narrative,” wrote Dani Di Diplacido for Forbes.
Peter Thiel is the co-founder of the company Palantir and PayPal, and an early investor in the political careers of Donald Trump and JD Vance. So what does “6 7” have to do with Thiel? Well, nothing.
During an interview with the New York Times in June, Thiel talked about a shadowy figure in the bible who will rise to kick Satan off after the last battle of Armageddon. He even named a suspect: Greta Thunberg, who he claimed might be the antichrist. but the interview really went viral when Thiel struggled to answer a question about whether he wants the human race to endure.
Soon after, South Park made Thiel a character in season 28 episode 1. In one part of the episode, he comes on stage during a pep rally to discuss why “6 7” is bad, and he says, "Hello, kids, I’m Peter Thiel, and I’m here to talk to you about the Antichrist.” The character continues, “Ok, so first, what is the Antichrist? The Antichrist is a newer, more human form of Satan that will soon walk the Earth. We don’t know how soon it will walk the Earth, but it could be within the next six to seven weeks.”
After that, the kids burst out laughing, saying, “6 7.” Thiel’s character is confused and continues to explain why they should blame “6 7” on Antichrist. “Satan wasn’t able to have a child until Donald Trump came along,” he says in confusion.
Soon after the “6 7” South Park episode, fans said that Peter Thiel didn’t blame Antichrist on “6 7.” Fans think that South Park is making fun of his Antichrist obsession and linking it to the nonsensical meme. South Park added Peter Thiel and 6’7 together in an episode because they were both stupid and they both made no sense.
The author and songwriter of Doot Doot (6 '7), Skrilla, explained in an interview that there was no actual meaning to the song and that he “accidentally leaked it,” and said that when the song came out, teenagers and children made the meaning. He also said in another interview that the saying was “Dumb as H*ll.”
Soon after that, people started criticizing him, saying that he should've never included “6 7” in his song if he was gonna call it dumb a month after the song was released.
Soon after that, Trump referred to “6 7” to his youngest son, Barron Trump. People suspected Barron taught Trump the “6 7” gesture.
Some people think that Trump doesn't know about the South Park episode, but he does. The Trump administration previously issued a scathing statement in July 2025 regarding a different South Park episode (season 27, episode 1, "Sermon on the 'Mount") that mocked the President extensively. In that instance, a White House spokesperson stated that every single news line that talked about it was fake, saying that the BBC is a fake news site and a “propaganda machine.”
