"Lana dey rey's upcoming album and what to expect " -- aniyah garza 8th grade
Last April, Lana Del Rey released her latest single, “Henry, Come On.” She also teased a possible title for her forthcoming album, Stove. This left many speculating if the title had a meaning behind it like the rest of her past albums. 2017’s Lust For Life represented a transition toward hope, political anxiety, and self-love, often featuring a lighter, more collaborative sound. 2019’s Norman F****ing Rockwell critiqued American masculinity, politics, and culture through a blend of satirical and deeply romantic songwriting.
“I think it’s called Stove because she cooks with those beats,” said 7th grader Sayuri Espinoza. Del Rey released another single in late 2025, “Bluebird” and fans may have found a possible leaked list of tracks that may feature more song titles like “5.75” and “Stars Fell on Alabama.”
It's been rumored and thenproven that the concept may be inspired by the country lifestyle. In early February, Del Rey released a single “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” and an accompanying music video. Del Rey promoted a huge billboard in Hollywood of a girl cuddling a wolf with the title, “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” printed below it. Fans speculated that the project could be a dark alternative concept-album mixed with country. The same billboard was put up in a small town in the Louisiana Bayou as well.
Fans see a pattern with her latest work. “Based on little snippets and her singles, I think she’s going for her older music mixed with her newest projects… I think the album is going to be based heavily on country romantic, or country yearn,” said Espinoza.
Del Rey has always said she would want to work on a country album with her producer Jack Antonoff, who helped her on albums like Norman F***ing Rockwell! and Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. For Stove, she’s also working with producers that work with other country artists, like producer Luke Laird who writes songs for Kacey Musgraves and Jon Pardi. She’s also working with producer Drew Erickson who’s worked with Mitski and Del Rey in the past. We also may see those same artists for features on the album.
However, it’s still a mystery as to who Del Rey will feature on this album, and fans are guessing smaller artists over mainstream ones.
“Okay so number one Mitski, number two Solya and number three?” guessed Espinoza. “Probably like… Let me think… this one niche artist named Baby Bugs that I’m gatekeeping ‘cause I get all the ladies and gents.”
Del Rey frequently posts and updates on her Instagram, so stay tuned for her album release date. Stove is anticipated sometime around spring or early summer.
